The Foundation
The CDP Foundation was established by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti SpA in 2020 with the goal of expanding and complementing the Group’s historic commitment to the social, cultural, environmental and economic development of Italy.
The Foundation promotes positive change, supporting initiatives that revolve around the country’s strategic assets and involve, in particular, the younger generations. It focuses on the development of people, communities and regions, particularly southern Italy, through joint projects with civil society and national and local institutions.
Through to 2023, the Foundation had financed over 80 projects across Italy, allocating over 22 million euro of resources and adopting “impact philanthropy” models aimed at generating tangible long-term changes.
