FOF Infrastrutture

Through the FOF Infrastructure fund of funds, we support the development of the Italian infrastructure market, promoting sustainable projects, stimulating the growth of asset managers and national infrastructure funds, and acting as a catalyst for institutional resources in projects that have a direct impact on the real economy and the country.

 

Type: Established in January 2023, FOF Infrastructure is a closed-end alternative investment fund reserved for professional investors whose primary investment objective is to invest in units of AIFs investing in the infrastructure sector.

Amount and Investors: funding target of €500 million, of which €300 million has already been subscribed by CDP Equity.

Duration: 18 years from the date of commencement of operations, plus a possible extension of 2 years.

Scope of action: The FOF Infrastructure is made up of dedicated closed-end AIF and/or units of dedicated SICAFs and SICAVs investing in infrastructure assets and/or companies with a sustainable profile with the aim of maximising their value over the medium to long term. There is the possibility of co-investing directly with portfolio funds and to a residual extent.
The Fund may invest in UCIs primarily focused on Italian projects/companies and, to a limited extent, in UCIs with an international focus but which undertake to invest an amount at least equal to the amount subscribed by the Fund in Italian projects/companies.
The main focus areas of the FOF Infrastructure are, for example, energy and digital transition, circular economy, transport and sustainable mobility, natural capital and environment.

Fund bodies: Unitholders’ Meeting, the representative body of the fund's unitholders. Advisory Board, which is the body of the Fund used by the Board of Directors of CDP Real Asset Sgr and which is made up of representatives of the investors, gives its opinion on certain matters provided for in the fund regulations, such as transactions involving conflicts of interest and the overcoming of certain restrictions on the investment policy.

EQUITA GREEN IMPACT FUND

Management Company: Equita Capital SGR

Description: The fund aims to support the energy transition in Italy through small- to medium-scale infrastructure projects, mainly greenfield (at least 65%), with a focus on renewables (solar and wind) and the circular economy (biogas and biomethane).


EQUITER INFRASTRUCTURE II

Management Company: Ersel Asset Management SGR with Equiter as exclusive advisor

Description: The Fund focuses in particular on the energy and digital transition, with specific reference to the sectors of renewable energy (wind and solar), energy efficiency, circular economy and digitisation (fibre optic networks). The Fund also invests in health infrastructure, services supporting transport networks and university campuses. The prevailing strategic focus is on greenfield projects, while also maintaining exposure to brownfield projects involving improvements and/or development of existing infrastructure.


EOS ENERGY FUND II

Management Company: EOS Investment Management

Description: The Fund's objective is to support the financing of mainly greenfield infrastructure projects in Italy, for the construction of photovoltaic plants of more than 1 gigawatt, with a focus on the Italian market. The Fund specifically invests in medium- to large-scale (utility-scale) photovoltaic parks, contributing to the production of electricity from renewable sources and fostering the transition to the green economy.
